I have a master's in Chemistry and led a successful career in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
I felt that the designer and luxury men’s fragrances and grooming products on the market simply didn’t justify the prices charged. Too often, brands use flimsy, inexpensive packaging and cheap ingredients such as gelatines and animal fats.
I wanted to create a brand based on ‘sensorial luxury”: one that would take men’s grooming to a whole new level through products made with the very best ingredients and packaging, giving a unique and special experience to whoever buys them.
Over a period of two years, I undertook a rigorous analysis of one hundred men’s grooming products: from formulation to scent to packaging. My process in developing ZOUSZ products was equally meticulous: I created five to ten oud-based variations then refined those and refined again.
The result is a range of unique luxury grooming products that are also vegan-friendly wherever possible, and made without animal-testing.
The recyclable packaging is like a work of art reflecting the quality of what’s inside, with elements such as spot UV and hot foil stamping, and unexpected touches to delight the recipient such as the kilner-style jar, made from grade A-glass, for our Black Oud Beard Balm.
My aim is for premium perfection, always and with everything.
