Why barbers stock it
A beard oil a customer can smell during the trim sells itself at the till. Black Oud is deep, woody and reserved; Gold Oud is warm, sweet and open. Both are full fragrance compositions carried in a beard oil, balm and shampoo, so the shelf holds one scent in three forms and the eau de parfum above it. Made in England, in small batches, in packaging built to be seen: black boxes, sleeved, that read as a gift from across the shop. Half of ZOUSZ orders online are bought as gifts; in a barbershop that becomes the Christmas and Eid shelf.
